Bouquet Subscriptions/ Flower CSA


What is a CSA? CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. You have probably heard of more traditional farms offering a weekly CSA share of what they are harvesting on their farm, veggies, meats etc.. When you purchase a "share" you have a  time frame each week at the farm, or another location, where you pick up fresh veggies, fruits, meats, eggs, flowers etc.. that are currently available. It is a lovely way to support local farms and to purchase the freshest farm grown products. Sales of shares often start the end of the previous season or very early in the next so farmer’s may use these funds towards supplies and labor, farm improvements etc.. at a time when it is needed most. When purchasing a CSA share you are supporting local agriculture, local farms and farmers by helping  maintain and sustainably care for a piece of land and the beauty it will produce. In essence, you  purchase a stake in the success of the farm and the dreams of the  farmer. 


OUR FLOWER CSA/BOUQUET SUBSCRIPTIONS 

Here at Mystical Gardens Flower Farm we we will be offering two CSA bouquet shares this season. A Summer CSA/Bouquet Share for 6 weeks (one bouquet per week) starting the last week of June. 

Our final share of the season will be our end of summer/fall CSA that will begin the second week of August and run thru mid September. Each week you will receive a seasonal bouquet of  locally grown, freshly picked beautiful flowers, and no two bouquets will be the same, each week will offer new blooms and combinations including Dahlias, Sunflowers, Zinnias, Asters, and so many other varieties. 

Pick up locations will be at the farm stand on Sleepy Hollow Rd. and a location in Mystic to be determined. 

FARM STAND

This season will mark our first offering our blooms on a “self service” farm stand on Sleepy Hollow Road, North Stonington, Connecticut. We are hoping to have flowers available on the stand from Thursday through Sunday, throughout the growing season, May-to the beginning of October. Stand will be run on an honor system with cash payment only. Come back to our website for updates and when the stand will open for the season.
